The aims and Objectives for which OnTiv Professionals Association is organized are as stated below or as may from time to time in General Meeting be duly modified by the Association and approved by the Corporate Affairs Commission this is to say:
To promote and secure the unity of all OnTiv Professionals in Nigeria and the Diaspora at all times.
To conduct and carry on the work of the Association exclusively for social, cultural, educational, scientific and developmental purposes.
To strengthen the capacity of OnTiv Professionals members to initiate, formulate and implement sustainable development projects for the upliftment of its members and their communities.
To foster and advocate collaborative networking with other organizations nationally and internationally having similar or related aims, objectives and programs as ours, as well as with governments at Federal, State and Local levels for information and resource sharing and exchange for purposes of development of the Tivs, Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora.
To share views and express opinions on issues and matters affecting members and give a helping hand where necessary and feasible.
To advocate and protect the rights, duties and obligations of members of the Association without fear or favor.
To promote, protect and preserve the good name of the Association and the Tiv nation.
To encourage Tiv sons and daughters, who are professionals in diverse fields of endeavor to unite under one organization in a proactive Association for sustainable development in Tiv Land and development of the society.
To contribute and support the establishment of credible and accountable government in order to ensure good governance for the prosperity of the Tiv nation and Nigeria at large.
To inform and educate the Tiv nation on the importance of wealth creation and participatory democracy.
To engage in preventive and proactive measures to curtail conflict, to promote conflict resolution among the Tiv as well as between the Tiv and other ethnic nationalities.
To promote and foster better understanding and collaboration between and amongst the Tiv elite for the overall interest of the people and the Tiv nation.
To fund projects geared towards assisting women, children and the less privileged in Nigeria, especially those of the Tiv extraction.
To advocate and protect the rights of, source and/or raise scholarships for persons selected by the Association as deserving.
